The BD Bacatá project is an architectural complex of 115,000 m2, made up of seven basements, a shopping centre with two floors and two tower blocks of 67 and 57 floors respectively, where they are constructing 405 apartments, 117 offices, an extended-stay hotel with 62 apartments, a luxury hotel with 335 rooms belonging to the Hotusa hotel chain and 52 luxury apartments.
Once finished, this project will be the tallest building in Colombia and the second tallest in South America, with the height of south tower reaching 240 m and the north tower measuring 216 m.
Suris SL Colombia is collaborating on this project in the role of delegated administrators, acting as consultants for the owners in all matters relating to the installations and facilities, medium and low voltage, natural ventilation and safety, extraction and ventilation management for the basements and HVAC in the hotel areas, spa, shopping centre and luxury housing. Hydraulic systems throughout the complex and telecommunications, as well as the integration of all the subsystems in the BMS to monitor, control and manage the architectural complex.
Suris SL Colombia has not only acted as consultants for the client regarding the reengineering of the installations and facilities’ works, but has also brought with it new methods, materials and original technological solutions to Colombia, in order to optimise the work on a project with these characteristics, bearing in mind the complexity that a building of this height involves.
